
Andrew R. Cissna is a free-lance lighting designer in the Washington, DC Metro area, designing lighting for
theatre, dance, musicals, events, and weddings. Follow the links for photos of each and find more examples
of my work on the photos page of the website. I am currently seeking an MFA in Lighting Design at the
University of Maryland, College Park - Class of 2014.

Andrew holds a B.F.A. in Lighting Design from the North Carolina School of the Arts. For the 2006-2007 season,
he was the acting lighting designer in residence for the John F. Kennedy Center's Theatre for Young Audiences
as part of the Thomas S. Kenan Fellowship. He is currently the Lighting Supervisor for the Atlas Performing Arts Center
and the Lighting Coordinator for the Spoleto Festival USA.
